Welcome back to my blog, beautiful readers! Today, I will share with you the beautiful details of the Gebhardt’s Beach Wedding. It took place at the B Ocean Hotel (@boceanresort), a magical resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My team and I had the opportunity to do the hair and makeup for the gorgeous bride and fifteen girls in her bridal party.
In only five hours we were able to leave them all stunning! This time around, we decided to stick to a natural makeup look that would withstand the heat and the shining sun of the beach wedding. We also wanted to include natural waves in all the hairstyles, these looked great on the beach.
The bride chose peach, rose, and beige tones for the look, as she wanted it to match the wedding aesthetic and color palette. She wanted to look delicate and natural, so we made sure to consider this for the chosen bridal makeup and bridal hairstyle.
The bridal makeup included a natural rosy smokey eye look, paired with peachy cheeks and lipstick. A simple yet very elegant choice. Similar colors were used for her bridesmaids, and they all looked so radiant! I loved this color palette as much as the bride, and it was the perfect beach wedding makeup choice.
The key to a beach wedding makeup is keeping it lightweight, choosing dewy and moisturizing products that will make the skin glow in the sunlight is very important, as well as shimmering eyeshadows. We want to avoid the skin looking dry and cakey at all costs. Remember, you also have to apply sunscreen to avoid any unwanted sunburn on the most important day. I recommend applying it only in the body, as some sunscreen face products can produce flashback in your wedding photos.
