I was born in Venezuela with an innate passion for beauty, fashion, art, and science.
While attending college to become a Biology and Chemistry teacher, I was also involved in scenic arts. I participated as a model in fashion shows, campaigns, editorials, photo-shoots, events, TV and media appearances. I participated in beauty pageants, and I would always get asked to do other’s hair and makeup. I just loved helping others look and feel great! That is how my BEAUTY JOURNEY began.
I then completed my Bachelor degree in 2010, and I started teaching part time while working in marketing as well.
Hopeful and full of dreams, I started my life from scratch in 2014 after moving to the US due to the tense political situation in my home country. I knew I needed to pursue what I love, so I decided to train with the best and become a Makeup and Hair Artist. By attending PRO makeup classes with beauty gurus, such as Mario Dedivanovic (Kim Kardashian’s Makeup Artist) and his Master Class in New York City, Roberto Ramos, Kasia Fortuna, Helder Marucci, and other celebrity HMUAS I was able to level up my skills and expertise.
In 2017, I attended Boca Beauty Academy in Boca Raton Florida to complete my FACIAL SPECIALIST License. Meanwhile, I was teaching science at the School District of Palm Beach County at the same time (yes! I do not know how I managed to have a full-time job and prepare for a second career).
Later on that year, I got certified by TEMPTU to offer Airbrush Full Makeup Applications and continued training by specializing in more complex skincare treatments, such as Chemical Peels, Micro-needling, Brow Design, and Brow Lamination.

I decided to take my passion for beauty and teaching to the next level by offering my knowledge and expertise as an Esthetician, Makeup & Hair Artist, and Content Creator. I am now the owner of JESS BONILLA BEAUTY, a company that specializes in subtle transformations, helping women to bring out their best version of their natural complexion and talents. We have expanded now and have a team of more than 15 artists.
I see beauty as everything that can improve your life. I believe that beauty has nothing to do with looks. Beauty is how you are as a person and how you make others feel about themselves. When I am not creating looks on my clients, I am creating content for my blog and social media platforms. I am also a yoga, coffee, and nature lover. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Life is short, so we must enjoy it!.

As a Licensed Esthetician, Jess has extensive training and expertise in makeup, hair styling, and skincare. She specializes in bringing out the best features by creating natural to glam and dramatic looks. With a Science background, she loves product formulation and development. Her Bridal Work has also positioned her at the top of wedding providers in the South Florida area. She is our Team Leader and the creative inspiration. She’s happy to help you by sharing her tips and tricks and deciding the best style for your natural complexion.
